This series of films serves as a clear and straightforward explanation of how our economy, energy systems and environment interact — how we got to where we are today, and some reasonable expectations for the future. The series is split into 3 sections of roughly 1.5 hours each. The 4th session will be a discussion to look at the initiatives that are already operating on the island and around New Zealand, as well as to brainstorm other possibilities to support each other and the community.
Millie Watkins, James Samuel and Emma Bowyer-Warner will be co-facilitating the sessions. There will be exercises and reflection opportunities to digest the information in each of the sessions. The viewings will take place in an informal setting with access to refreshments at the Artworks cafe. There is a limited number of comfy seats so you may want to bring a pillow to sit on the floor or the risers.
There is no charge for the course, however, we ask people to choose a month when they can attend all 4 sessions.
